This Privacy Policy describes how Intellectual Wit Consulting ('we', 'us', or 'our') collects, uses, and protects information in connection with Clear Cut Debt Lab ('the App'). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

1a. Information You Enter Directly

The App allows you to enter financial information including:

• Credit card names (you may use any label -- we recommend generic names like 'Card 1')

• Credit card balances, credit limits, APR rates, and minimum payments

• Statement closing dates

• Monthly payment budgets

This information is entered voluntarily and used solely to calculate payoff plans and utilization within the App.

1b. Account Information

If you create an account, we may collect:

• Email address

• Password (stored securely and encrypted -- we never store plain-text passwords)

1c. Purchase Information

If you subscribe to Clear Cut Debt Lab Pro, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card or payment information. RevenueCat, our subscription management provider, processes subscription status only.

1d. Automatically Collected Information

We may automatically collect limited technical data including:

• Device type and operating system version

• App version and crash reports (for bug fixing purposes only)

• General usage analytics -- which features are used, no personal financial data included

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide solely to:

• Display your credit card balances, utilization rings, and payoff calculations within the App

• Generate your personalized payoff plan (Snowball or Avalanche strategy)

• Calculate your monthly budget allocation

• Send closing date reminders if you enable notifications

• Maintain your account and subscription status

• Improve the App through anonymous usage analytics

We do NOT use your financial information for advertising, profiling, credit reporting, or any purpose other than providing the App features to you.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your financial data is stored locally on your device and, if you create an account, securely in our database using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase for data storage, which employs AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS encryption in transit.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong password and keep your device secure.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We may share limited data only with:

• Supabase -- for secure data storage and authentication

• RevenueCat -- for subscription management (subscription status only, no financial data)

• Apple App Store / Google Play -- for payment processing (we receive no payment details)

• Crash reporting tools -- for anonymous bug fixing (no personal or financial data included)

5. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Access the data you have entered into the App at any time

• Edit or delete any card or financial information within the App

• Delete your account and all associated data by contacting privacy@clearcutdebtlab.com

• Opt out of analytics data collection by adjusting your device privacy settings

• Request a copy of your data by contacting us

To request account deletion or a data export, email: privacy@clearcutdebtlab.com. We will process your request within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

Clear Cut Debt Lab is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at privacy@clearcutdebtlab.com.

7. Entertainment and Informational Purposes Only

Clear Cut Debt Lab is an organizational tool for entertainment and personal tracking purposes only. The App is NOT a financial advisor, credit counselor, or regulated financial service. All calculations and payoff estimates are for informational purposes only. We make no guarantees about financial outcomes.

Always consult a qualified financial professional before making financial decisions.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date at the top of this policy and by sending a notification within the App.
